Unfortunately Pet Pharmacies Can No Longer Sell Beransa.
We have recently been advised by Zoetis, the manufacturer of Beransa that the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) have updated the label for Beransa to include a statement “For use only by or under the supervision of a veterinarian.”With this statement now on the Beransa label the manufacturer has advised that they will no longer be supplying this product to pharmacies, as administration of Beransa by a pet owner would not be considered under the supervision of a veterinarian.
We understand that this may be incovenient but is not something within our control. You should speak to your veterinarian about how best to continue with Beransa or other alternatives for your pet.
